It isn't that he's a loner, he just doesn't follow anyone around; nobody's really been worth the effort. But he never forgets a kindness, and if you're good to him, he'll spare nothing in paying you back for it. To him, the ultimate sign of friendship is to give without the expectation of a return. If you can get him to do that, it means he'll follow you to the ends of the earth... and maybe a bit further.
breakin' laws, yeah culture shockin' • ENEMIES ENEMIES ENEMIES ENEMIES ENEMIES ENEMIES • Oh, how he loves payback. If he's slighted, you can bet he'll playfully return the favor with a grin on his face. His "an eye for an eye" philosophy seldom includes anger; he sees it as simply fair, and nothing to get all ruffled about. However, someone in a position of power or authority over others will be treated with definite and outright hostility -- to his mind, he equates them with King Oberon, whom he still holds quite a grudge against.
we be pop lockin' and moshing • LOVERS LOVERS LOVERS LOVERS LOVERS LOVERS LOVERS • Although he can come off as flirty, Robin consciously does his best to keep out of anyone's pants. There are all sorts of emotions and tangles and complications that arise with the issue of sex, so nowadays, he avoids it like the bubonic plague. A love life's just not his thing, and if you really want a romantic plot with him, needless to say it'll be as easy as pulling teeth.
it's time to be wild, freestyle • OTHERS OTHERS OTHERS OTHERS OTHERS OTHERS OTHERS • Overall, he's not an easy guy to get to know. He runs circles around people, never talks about himself, and more often than not he finds himself in the weirdest circumstances -- so if you want things to start getting downright weird, Puck's your man. Shit just happens around him.

Well the Winchester boys have had their fair share of run ins with faeries so in over 600 years of life I am sure at some point Ruby has as well. Plus she was a witch, the nature based kind while she was alive and a blood magic one when she sold her soul. What might be awesome is if Robin knew her as a human, when she was Joan Fisher living in England. Perhaps he was one of the many spirits she would leave milk out for and give shiny objects to in the woods for a little luck. Maybe he watched over her shoulder when she didn't know it, seeing her take care of people as a healer. Then when the inquisition came for her maybe he stood by and watched her sell her soul to save herself from a burning death....just thoughts off the top of my head. Well she is back now and he might have heard rumors over the years of Joan adopting the name Ruby as a demon and now is a human again...

Not a bad thought -- I believe Puck has a bit of a soft spot for witches, so I can definitely see him trading her milk and trinkets for small favors. Plus, a human turning into a demon turning into a human? That's practically unheard of, so he would be all over that with his curiosity. He'd avoid telling her exactly how he knows her, though, so I can see her getting frustrated by this weird, jumpy little guy who somehow knows about her past. Until either he slips up or she puts two and two together, of course. :3

OMG will he frustrate her especially if/when he calls her Joan because no one knows her by that name. We must thread!! Does he hang out in a lot of occult shops? Perhaps she is there looking for a book to try to relearn her old spells since she can't use blood magic effectively as a human.

He spends most of his time outside, but if he caught side of her just walking along the street, I have no doubt that he'd follow her straight into a shop. Are there any particular songs/phrases from her past that might turn her head, once they're both in? I figure he'd whistle an old, old tune to get her attention at first, or hum along a verse she'd have been familiar with.

As a child she would sing rhymes outside while she played, here is one from the time period that she would have used:
Ring a ring a rosies, A pocket full of posies. Hush!-The Cry?-Hush!-The Cry? All fall down.
