Looking for people interested in plotting with me! A little bit about Azazael for your folks;

-Former Archangel, now Angel, only recently released from the dark, sharp-rock-filled pit he's spent millenia trapped in.

-Currently on the fence a little about this whole Watcher plan; while once a decidedly gung-ho member of their ranks, his long, long period in a pitch black hole has left him decidedly less enthused about pissing off God. While certainly one of the Watchers, he's more sarcastic and not quite so respectful towards the others as he once was... and anyone involved with his captivity is going to start off on his bad side from day one.

-He has a wicked sense of humor, and while not necessarily the sort of pro-active prankster some folks are, he more than appreciates a good time, and he might even be on the same boat as Gabriel were it not for the whole They-Locked-Me-In-A-Hole thing...

-Given he hasn't so much as seen the sun since Biblical times, he is nothing short of astounded with the sort of changes that have swept across humanity since. For a man who considers mixed fibres an innovation, he's a bit like a kid in a candy store, bouncing from one corner of the globe to the other, sampling food, sights, more than a few women... deep fried onion rings are enough to make him happy at this point.

[Ramiel]

Ramiel is an angel who is often mistaken for Azazael (since Azazael is also called Rameel). I figure there can be some amusing plots behind this.

Also, Ramiel is a former Watcher. He was the 6th leader before the Watchers fell. So the two would know each other, for sure.

Sounds interesting. n.n Though not sure how to make a full plot from the issue of their similar names; at most it might be more've a recurring joke throughout whatever other plot is put together, though it could be tough to toe the line when it comes to knowledge level. In other words, of the small number of people who even know of Azazael's alternate name, the number of such scholars/beings who would additionally make that mistake might be pretty small.

Though I could picture poor Dean having a hard time with it, as he does usually get wrapped up in confusion about lore. xD "So... he's Ramiel." "No, he's Azazael." "Right, but... he's Ramiel too?" "No, he was just called Rameel." "Oh, so... he's not Ramiel?" "Well, his name was Ram-" "Oh nevermind! Christ..."

The former Watcher angle could def lead to some good dramatic plotness in any number of ways, particularly since Ramiel apparently is the Keeper of the thing the Watchers want to get their paws on. Might not take so direct a route as that with Azazael, though, turn him more into a Ghost of Christmas Past for Ramiel? Remind the angel of his former loyalties, his former comrades, and criticize him for having by all appearances left the fold?

I don't imagine they were very close back in the day, but Azazael could definitely pay him visits and try to guilt him. Ramiel is a prime target for being the Record Keeper, after all.

Mmhmm. n.n Though still thinking he might be a little ways from revealing himself; he did spend a very long time in really lonely captivity. xD If Ramiel's even remotely on the side of anyone by the Watchers, the last thing Azazael's going to be doing is popping up and saying 'Look! I's back!'

[Chazaqiel]

CHAZA & AZ ~

Chazaqiel is the eighth watcher leader, so he's probably going to have some meetings with Azazael. I don't think they'd really be friends, but Chaza will probably look up to him and show him respect. Also...since their both on the same side...Evil plottage? buahahaha

Oooo, could work. Could join him in his monster-recruiting scheme? Might go for some real irony and turn it into a bit of a cult, a Saviour complex for monsters. xD

[Yin Izumi]

Yin may or may not see Azazael some. Ramiel will eventually be unofficially in charge of watching ove her for a little bit. I don't imagine she'll try to be in Az's presence often, though.
