Gabriel and Yin finally came to a stop in front of the bar, hand in hand. Gabe grinned up at the bright neon sign above the front door before leading the way inside. He was eager to start their fun night of booze and dancing and the sooner they got to it the better.
As soon as they entered, the harsh smell of liquor hit Gabriel hard and his eardrums rang with the clinking of glasses and the chatter of people. This bar was just like most others, minus the fact it had an unusually weird name. It was called "The Purple Duck", and the Trickster couldn't help but to wonder just how high the owner was when he named it that. No matter, it was a nice place, if you didn't mind the nearly half naked women prowling around and the constant bar fights that happened.
"Here we are." says the archangel, going up to the front counter and plopping down, motioning for Yin to sit next to him. He was tempted to go over to the other side of the bar, where there were pole dancers, but decided better of himself. Gabriel was making such a lovely first impression, he didn't want to ruin it this early in the game.
This early in the game?
That was exactly what this was to Gabriel. A game. After tonight, he was doubtful he would ever see this girl again. It always seemed to happen like this, why would tonight be any different? It was the same old story. Gabe meets up with some girl off the streets and they end up a few hours later in some hotel room somewhere. Although this scenario had a tad bit of a twist. Yin wasn't some girl off the streets, she was a demon off the streets.
Would Gabriel really end up in a hotel room with a demon?
"I'll get whatever she's having." Gabe tells the bartender, with a slight nod at Yin. "Unless ,of course, she orders lighter fluid and rat poison."

The…Purple Duck….That was…an interesting name. Yin couldn’t say she’d ever been here before. She gazed questionable at her companion, but shrugged and followed in after him anyways. He was right when he said it was full of pole dancers and drunks. Yin inspected the scene as she allowed the beat of the music to take over her eardrums. Her body began to give a slight sway to its rhythm and she accidentally brushed up against his leg, which could’ve been taken suggestively. Yin’s face turned pink as she stopped herself and gave him an apologetic look. It wasn’t like she was meaning to be flirty. It was just how Yin was, apparently whether she liked it or not. Get yourself together, Yin Izumi, it’s just a drink. You’re not here for anything else.
Yin began to twirl a lock of her black hair as she followed Gabe to the table and took a seat beside him. She took another once-over at the bar before returning her attention to him. “Well, it’s got crappy music playing, half-naked women who all look like they’ve had a C-section, and it smells of drunken truckers and fear.” She laughed and smirked playfully, “it’s definitely a bar. I assume you wish to challenge me to a drinking contest?”
Yin found she loved to toy with him. Most people would dislike it, but he understood that she was simply joking with him. It was in her eyes that she was glad to be there. Yin hated people who couldn’t read others. They took things so literally and it was hard to tease. It was hard to do much of anything except be serious and literal with those types. She looked to the bartender and gave him a slight nod of greeting, “well, I’d personally just like a glass of red wine…but you can get the rat poison and lighter fluid for him. He can handle it.”
Yin would never admit she liked the wine because its color resembled blood. She nudged Gabe playfully and winked. If he could down rat poison and light fluid and still live to tell the tale, then he was her hero.
It took until just now to notice that she hadn’t released his hand. Yin’s cheeks took an even darker shade as she let go and let her hands rest on the bar. What now? “So…” She began. That was usually an effective conversation starter. “I know why I was in the graveyard, but what about you? Certainly you didn’t hear me all the way from the streets and just decide to investigate.” Her brow lifted, “up to trouble?”
She accepted the wine from the bartender and took a sip of it. It tasted so good. Yin loved to drink, but she’d never admit that, either. If she could get drunk easily, then she would’ve been an alcoholic. It was best to be out of one’s mind all the time and not realize the world was going down the tubes then be aware and not be able to do anything about it.

Gabriel stared down at the glasses set in front of them and mulled over her question. Why was he at the graveyard? He didn't want to spill the beans about his angelic roots so he would have to think up some deviously good lie to tell. It wouldn't be the first lie Gabe had told a women, it wouldn't be the last. Lying was a necessity nowadays. In order to disguise himself as the trickster, and do it convincingly, stretching the truth was a common occurrence.
"Well...I was looking for something that some asswipe stole from me." Gabriel replies, running a finger around the rim of his glass. He licked his lips, debating over whether or not to drink now, or drink later. He didn't want to down the whole glass right now, wine had a tendency to leave him wanting more. More that Gabriel really didn't need.
"Apparently, nobody likes a good prank anymore and holds grudges." Gabriel was pretty much pulling this story out of thin air, but he was almost positive he sounded convincing. He always did have a knack for story telling back home in the Cloud Kingdom.
"But, anyways, lets just put that dirty matter aside, carebear. Tell me about your pretty little self." He tried changing the subject now, picking up his own glass of red wine and putting it to his lips. Gabe took a small sip, getting the taste for it, before downing it all in one go. He smiled and set the now empty cup down, ordering another from the bartender.
By the time the night's over I'm going to have a little collection of twenty something wine glasses.
.....Oh well...the more drinks the merrier!

That was a likely story. Yin nodded and listened patiently until he was done explaining himself, though she was unsure if it was the complete truth or not. Still, Yin was inclined to believe him. She downed her drink and got another glass. It was too bad the bartender was probably not going to get paid for his service tonight. Yin liked to ditch on her bills. There was no point in paying for them when she wasn’t human, and the fact she was completely broke. It wasn’t like he was going to remember it later on. Yin had a habit of…disappearing…from people’s minds. Truthfully, it was as easy as disappearing for months. There were plenty of bars in the world for her to steal alcohol from.
She laughed at his mention of people being unable to take jokes because it was so true. “Humans are very uptight…as are most species,” she commented. “I said it in the graveyard, and I’ll say it again, I love a good prank.” Yin sloshed the wine in her cup and watched it swirl around. It was interesting. Yin found she was amused by the strangest things sometimes. “I’m sure you got whoever that jerk was good. They’ll never forget it, right?” She winked.
Care bear. That was a new one. Yin didn’t think she’d had anyone call her care bear before. It was hard to imagine herself as one of those fluffy bears. At the same time it warmed her ears and cheeks. It was cute. Though, he was asking about her. Yin was thinking she was going to need a lot more to drink to talk about herself. “Okay, do you want the real story or the fake one where I’m a misunderstood girl who ran away from home to do greater things in the state of California?”
Yin chuckled, down her wine, got another glass and took a drink before sighing. “Well, my past and obvious inability to be human aside, I like acting. I’m quite the actress in theater, and am also sort of well-known in that industry. I love to sing and dance. My favorite kind of alcohol is red wine, as you can see. I definitely like a good party and a good time. The parties Pagans put on always seem to be the wildest.” She smirked, “but, on the other hand, I tend to enjoy quieter things as well like reading. I’m basically able to interact with both kinds of people and almost tend to balance them.” She shrugged, “there’s not much to boring ol’ me less you want to get into my past, and it’s not worth the while, either.” Basically, she didn’t want to talk about it. “Right now I try to avoid all supernatural creatures at all costs, especially demons. They’re not too kind toward me right now. You…” she gestured, “are an exception tonight. For what reason I’m not sure, but you just seemed interesting.”
The demon sighed and twirled a lock of her black hair. “So, should I ask about you? What do you have to tell me, hm?”

Gabriel listened intently to what Yin had to say. So she liked to dance, sing, prank and drink wine? Jackpot. He now knew why he had liked her so much. Her personality was just too good to be true. The only thing that didn't interest Gabe much was the whole "reading" thing but he ignored it. The archangel wasn't an avid reader, but it wasn't like he had enough time in the day and patience to sit down and read a novel.
Gabriel was going to ask her about her past, her background but thought better of himself. He didn't want to make his new acquaintance, or even possibly friend, uneasy. He could tell by her voice that she didn't want to talk about it and he respected that. It wasn't like he wanted to talk about his past either.
Gabe quirked both eyebrows at the question she threw at him. What did he have to tell her? He cocked his head to one side and gave her a serious look for a second before going back to his grinning cheerful self. "Well I'm just your everyday hooligan. I like parties, a good time and lots and lots of booze." He wasn't lying. He wasn't nicknamed the "party angel" for nothing.
Gabriel drummed his fingers against the side of his glass before adding in. "...We all have our secrets, babe, and the way I see it, the past is the past, we shouldn't dwell on it, we should look forward to the future." With that he raised his glass, offering to clink it against Yin's.
Especially when your past is full of melodramatic temper tantrums and family squabbles that make you want to slap a bitch.

So she’d run into a party boy. He was the type of guy that picked up women, had a night’s worth of fun, and dumped them the next day never to see them again. Yin bit her bottom lip and cast a look down into her wine. Her reflection looked back at her—mocking her. Yin sloshed the drink again to get rid of the image. Truthfully, she was a hypocrite if she said she hadn’t done the same thing multiple times. She just hoped that wasn’t the case now. Yin actually liked the guy. In fact, she had been hoping to see him again after tonight. The two seemed like they could really get along, and the fact he had no problem with her being a demon made it all the better. No, she needed to calm down and think about this more. Yin did the same, and she could still have friends. Yin could make something out of him.
“Well, maybe we’ll just happen to run into each other at a few parties, hm?” She shrugged off her earlier thoughts. They were stupid. The two of them were here to just enjoy a good drink together after a friendly meeting in the graveyard. There was no way she was going to end up in a room with him tonight. No. Damn. Way. “If you ever feel like hitting me up for a good prank on some dick, then you know how to call me. Just find a certain road.” That was mainly a joke. Since she figured he knew she could be summoned at a crossroads anywhere. Yin hadn’t responded to any of those in quite a long time.
A look of relief washed over her features when he commented on the past. Yin raised her glass and clinked it with his gently, “I couldn’t agree more. The future is much more worth dwelling on.” If only she could forget the past, then perhaps things would be better. Yin took a drink as she watched Gabe. A thoughtful look came into her eyes. “Say…you said you like to dance…” She gestured toward the music box, “why don’t we find a good tune and have a little dance, hm? It’ll be fun.”

Gabriel nodded, put his glass down and stood up. "I'll warn you now, girlie girl I have hell of a lot of dance moves." He winked and went over to the music box Yin had gestured to. What to dance to...what to dance to... He tapped his finger against the side of it as he decided. There must have been something Gabe would want to dance to.
He was after-all, a lover of all songs. It didn't matter what tempo or what dirty slanderous lyrics, Gabriel would dance to anything. Except for, of course, that awful polka music. But besides that, the archangel was as open minded as you can get when it came to these things.
"Here we go." Gabe found the perfect song and put it on full blare. He smiled even wider, if that was even possible, and motioned to Yin."You like?" He asks, or rather shouts, over the booming of the music. His ear drums began to vibrate and he bobbed his head to the beat of the song.
Gabriel's body seemed to move on its own, to the rhythm, not even having to put any effort in at all. It came natural, like breathing. Except, being an angel, breathing wasn't very necessary. Was it? But then again, dancing isn't necessary and he was doing it too.
It was almost funny how well the song fit the archangel. A song about 'pick-up lines'. Gabriel always did like a nice corny pickup line to kick start a conversation. It always worked wonders on women. They all seemed to love Gabe's cheesiness. Extreme. Terrible. Cheesiness.

Yin sat down her glass and smirked daringly at him. "If you're that good, then you'll be able to keep up with me." She followed her companion out to the music box and inspected the music it offered. There was a lot of crappy music, but a gold nugget was lodged there somewhere. She decided to let Gabe choose to get a taste of music he preferred. Music taste told some about an individual if one knew how to interpret it. She waited anxiously as his fingers dribbled on the box.
His cue that he'd found a good song caused the demon to perk up. She listened as the first notes began. It was upbeat. It made her think a bit of pop and R&B music. Yin listened more and decided that it was one of the two or both. She had a decent ear for types of music, but she wasn't all up-to-date with the "modern" kinds of music. All the demon knew is, as the song progressed, she actually liked it. It was easy to dance to and fun to dance to most of all. "I love it!" She called back as the vibrations of the song drummed throughout her body.
Yin's body swayed and moved to the song with fluid motions. She was truly a good dancer. All of that time practicing for theater events and just being a party girl in her younger years had given her experience. Yin achieved things through experience and practice rather than talent, though, she figured she did have a little talent in there. It compensated for the many other things she was unable to do.
Once the demon had gotten fully into the rhythm she scooted closer to her companion and began to dance with him. Their movements together were alluring to those who merely watched; Yin found they matched quite well. She smirked, "I think we may make people jealous, Gabe! We should be careful ~"

Gabriel was semi surprised that Yin had actually came to him and started dancing. He was usually the one that made the advances, so it was refreshing to see someone else do it. "Careful is one of my middle names, right after "smut" and "sexy"." he snickered and continued to dance with his new demon friend.
Boy could she dance. Gabe couldn't keep his eyes off her the entire time, a goofy grin on his face, the beat causing him to practically jump up and down. His hand accidentally grazed her rear and his face turned at least twenty shades of red. But, the blushing was gone just as soon as it had came when the song came to an end.
He waggled his eyebrows. "Its your turn to pick the next song, Minny-Yinny." Gabriel made a motion towards the music box. He prayed there was more good songs somewhere in there. It had taken what seemed like forever in Gabe's opinion to find that Luigi Masi song and he was afraid of some of the music he saw.
Who the hell thought it would be funny to put Rebecca Black music in there!?
The trickster tilted his head to the side and cracked his neck. Oh that felt good. His vessel was beginning to get stiff from lack of exercise and the dancing was working wonders. But I know something that would work even more wonders. He chuckled to himself, thinking dirty thoughts.
Gabe watched Yin, looking her down. Damn she is fine with a capital F!

This had to be the most fun the demon had had in a long time. For one, her friend could dance on a level that matched hers. Most of the time that was hard to find anymore. People thought they could dance, but they were absolutely terrible. Yin appreciated the fact the two could move so fluidly together as if they could read each other's moves. Yin didn't even mind the accidental brushing of his hand on her bum...if it'd even been an accident. She let out a playful laugh. He was too much fun.
It was depressing when the song ended and the two stood there with grins on their faces and hardly broken into a sweat, yet it was also exhilarating. Her dark eyes shone and she was eager for more. The fact that she got to pick a song made it all the more fun. Though, she was unsure if she could find a song worth dancing to. Yin took a step up to the music box and inspected her choices. Ew, Rebecca Black?
Her lips curled into a teasing grin and she cast a mischievous look in his direction. "How many people would blow their eardrums out if I played Friday, do you think? That'd be an interesting experiment." She snickered at the idea, but then instead played a different song before turning to him and doing a small dance toward him. Her arms teasingly wrapped around his neck as her nose nearly brushed against his; her lips curled into a smirk. "I think I'll spare them this time. I found a good enough song instead. That poor music box really needs an update, though, some of that music is terrifying!"
Her arms unwrapped from his neck and slid down to where her hands rested on his shoulders. Yin's body swayed to the music and she didn't quite mind how suggestively close she was. Dirty dancing? She loved doing it. She also loved to toy with those she dirty danced with. It was a habit that was hard to break for Yin.

Oh HELL no! Friday? Gabriel was sure that if Yin were to play that song he would pull out his archangel blade then and there and finish himself off. If there was one thing that he couldn't stand in the least was a crappy auto-tuned song from a girl that can't even sing. Well, sing good at least.
A wave of relief rushed over him as a different song came into play and his ears were spared, along with everyone else's nearby. It would have been a disaster if Yin had gone through with her evil little plan. "I agree on that ~ " The Trickster nodded when she said the box needed some updated tunage.
Gabriel felt tingles go up his spine as the music pounded and Yin danced in such a seductive way. He leaned forward and rubbed his nose against hers as they swayed. There was something about dirty dancing Gabe just loved. Whether it be the fact it had sexual appeal or the fact it gave him an excuse to be closer to Yin.
Either way, dirty dancing was a-okay in his book any day.
Gabriel had never heard this song before, but he fell in love with it instantly. It made him want to just start ripping off the demon's clothes and doing very very bad things to her. Of course, he figured that would result in a backhand and a lot of disapproving looks from bystanders.
I'll have to remember the name of this song...
The archangel ran his tongue over his lips, staring at his friend's own lips as if he were going to swoop in and kiss them. Oh what the hell. He went for it, his lips connecting with hers. Gabriel just hoped this ended well, because if it didn't, he was sure he'd get a nice boot to the face.

It was funny how easily she could turn the tables. A guy who had the intentions of seducing her was suddenly the one being seduced. That's the kind of game Yin played. It was fun to make them want her more than she wanted them. The game took the exact kind of self-control that Yin had. She could stretch a game on for days at a time as long as the guy was interested in playing it, and most of the time they were. If there was one thing a guy hated it was letting something they wanted get away from them. The fact that she acted like something they couldn't have often just made them want her more and persist harder. The attention was adorable when it was something she showed a true interest in.
The way the two danced together was electrifying to her senses. She could feel her body become more alert to touch, scent, taste, and all those other good senses. It must've been from an adrenaline rush, which she thought gave off certain hormones that attracted a man more. Yin would have to look that up later. There were so many interesting, subtle things that happened when a female got sexually aroused that drew in her mate like a hypnotized rabbit. If one knew how to use them correctly, then a lot of men could be putty in their hands. It was always something that interested Yin.
Her companion licked his lips. Yin knew that sign. She knew it very well, and wasn't at all surprised when he kissed her. In fact, her fingers curled around the top of his jacket and she pulled him closer into the kiss. It was strange; Yin was a crossroads demon. She was supposed to kiss people to make deals and take souls, but she didn't. This was nothing more than a kiss. She hadn't any intention of taking his soul, but it was still weird to think about. It proved how powerful a kiss could be.
Yin caught sight of a nearby chair. Yes. The clocks in her head were ticking and she maneuvered her companion to the chair. There were dancers here, which meant that this was totally allowed. Yin wouldn't accepted otherwise with that those damn dancers probably did at night with the local drunk. She placed a gentle hand on Gabe's shoulder and pulled away from the kiss while lowering him into the chair.
"Sit." She murmured with a playful smirk. "Rest for a moment and let me have a little fun, won't you?" She flashed her teeth at him in a mischievous smile. She lowered to kiss him on the lips before scooting in her companion's lap, facing him. The song was perfect for this, she thought, and she wasn't so bad at giving lap dances to those she liked. The demon was enjoying this a tad too much, but she didn't care. Yin hadn't let loose and had so much fun in a long time, and she wasn't missing this chance.

Sit? Were Gabriel's ear deceiving him? Had Yin really taken him over to this chair and sat him down in it? Gabe's head was reeling, the music was hypnotic and now he had Yin on his lap. He was so overwhelmed with...giddiness. He couldn't help himself from chuckling, hands falling onto her hips and lips wanting, craving another kiss.
When it came to lap dances, this was certainly not a first time for the archangel. Lap dances were a natural occurrence in his life, something that happened almost every other day, if not everyday. Sex. Sex. Sex. Gabe was running on not adrenaline, not sugar, not hope, but on sex.
I'm one lucky ducky. He thought to himself, eyes locked on the demon in front of him, not able to look away. People were giving them curious glances but merely understood what was going on and looked away, going back to their conversations.
There were so many dancers strewn around the place anyways, seeing someone get a lap dance was like seeing someone breathing air. It was just that natural. Of course, that was probably not a good thing, but that's just how it worked here at The Purple Duck. A place perfect for horny men and women to get their groove on.
Speaking of getting my groove on...
Gabriel knew in the back of his mind he wasn't getting Yin in the bed with him. He was astonished she was even doing this for goodness sakes. But for some reason, the trickster wasn't upset about not getting into her pants, and that only meant one thing. She was a keeper. If he could actually go without needing to get her in bed on the first day, that meant he would expect to see her another time.
Gabe bit on his lip, focus still on Yin. ...Another time, huh?

Yin enjoyed her small show on him. The small touches and brushes of their bodies were extremely tempting. It had been a long time, and Yin meant a long time. It was tormenting her perhaps more than him. Her lips brushed against his right as the song came to an end and she settled more comfortably in hs lap. Her arms went around his neck as side shifted sideways and laid her body against him, head resting on his chest. She recovered her breath at her own pace. Whew...that had been fun! But it appeared it was going to end soon.
There was a look in his eyes. It said that he was not intending to get her into bed tonight. It asked for a second date, though not in that sense. At least, Yin didn't think it was that kind of date. She took it as one of those friendly outing kind of dates, not the romantic kind. Yin smiled up at him as she let out a sigh and nuzzled her head comfortably into his chest. Her dark eyes closed and her fingers stroked lightly through the ends of his hair. She didn't mind; Yin hadn't planned on sleeping with him tonight anyways.
"This was fun...we should go out again sometime, Gabe." Her eyes reopened and she looked at him with a hopeful expression. Honestly, it sucked to have it end. She was comfortable in his lap. The demon figured she could fall asleep right there and that'd be the end of it. Though, the two of them had things to do. At least...he might've. Yin hadn't anything to do after this. She figured she'd go find a hotel room or something to break into. The demon winked teasingly and laughed gently, "I expect dinner next time. Got it?"
Reluctantly, she began to get up from her spot. That comfy spot was going to be hers again someday. Yin was going to make sure of that. She held out a hand to Loki to offer to help him up. She was going to see him again. Sometime.

Gabriel was disappointed that their little fun was over. The blood was still pumping in his ears as he took Yin's hand, lifting up out of the seat. "Dinner sounds great and it'll be on me, carebear." He winked. On me...literally. He couldn't help but to have that thought lodged in his brain. It was so dirty...
"If you ever need me. Gabe made a gesture with his hand, a bouquet of roses appearing. He handed them to her."I'm right around the corner." He winked, gave her a kiss on the cheek and shimmied his way over to the exit. The trickster gave her one last smile, the most charming one he could muster, and disappeared through the doors, making his way outside.
He walked down the street, getting away from The Purple Duck before disappearing, leaving behind not a trace that he was ever there except the piles of empty glasses back inside the Bar. Gabriel was sure he'd be seeing Yin sometime very very soon.
