She's a mind reader! Gabriel thought, as he kissed Yin one last time before she fell off into sleep. How had she known he wanted to kiss her again? Was it that obvious? No matter, the archangel was glad he was able to sneak one in before her head lulled to one side on his chest and she went spiraling into dreams that the trickster had created for her.

The archangel smiled and leaned back, he knew that him and sleep were not friends and figured Yin would be the only one getting any shut eye tonight. Gabriel was an angel, angels didn't need sleep, it would only slow them down. But that didn't stop them from relaxing and so he laid there, cradling Yin, listening to her breathe.

Yin had mentioned adventure for their agenda tomorrow and Gabriel felt a rush of excitement. An adventure with his new companion? It sounded like fun. But for now he was stuck under the sheets, cuddling her in his arms.

And glad to be, too.
