It...what...what? Ramiel was knocked speechless yet again. Chazaqiel had given into the lust his other brothers were being corrupted with. That was okay. There was time to fix that...but then...no, it was impossible. Ramiel felt a rare swirl of anger rush over him, but he wasn't sure what he was angry at. Chazaqiel? The humans? Daniel? Father? No, he shouldn't think such things. He could never question Father. Questioning his Father meant doubts, and Ramiel didn't have those. This anger was foreign and obviously misplaced, but Ramiel couldn't shove it.

"That's impossible, Chazaqiel! Don't make up such fantasies! Angels cannot produce children, especially with human women! We are creations of God!"

The Archangel stopped himself before his rant could go any further. An apologetic look came over him, "I-I'm sorry...I'm not angry with you, little brother. It's just...this is ...surprising to take in. It's hard. How many others could possibly have children on the way by now? That's the question."

Ramiel was scared. Terrified, really. He did not want to lose his siblings. Tears were coming to his eyes the more his brother rambled on. It had to be because he was Falling. This had to be the reason he didn't want to go home and was wanting to Fall. What could Ramiel do? He wiped the tears from his face and held back his sobbing.

"Chazaqiel...little brother...please..." What could he say? Nothing he could say seemed to change the angel's mind. Ramiel wanted to curl into a ball and disappear for a while. He was losing everyone close to him...everyone..."Brother...if you Fall...please, don't let that stop you from being my little brother."

That was all to be said. The Archangel merely sat in silence now and let the tears roll down his face.

Chazaqiel gave a solemn nod, his heart throbbing in his chest. His brother looked so filled with sorrow, Chaza felt bad for him. It must have been hard for the archangel, watching everyone he ever loved fall. Not to mention, not being able to do anything about it. But there was really nothing he could do. The falling Watchers had to handle this on their own, nobody could help them.

The Watcher forced a small smile, for his brother's sake. "Of course I can still be your little brother." was the last thing he says, leaning over and giving his brother a hug before disappearing from view. Leaving behind him a tear covered Ramiel to sit and think.

Chazaqiel didn't know what was going to happen in the future. All he could do was force his way forwards and pray for the best. Surely Father would help him and his falling brothers? Surely he would come to their aid.

Little did Chaza know that God's help would not be coming. No, instead he would be left with God's wrath and anger. The exact opposite of what he desperately tried to pray for.
