"No! Stop it! Stop it, please! Stop!"
The screams still rang his head clear as a bell. They made Samyaza smile as he adjusted his sunglasses. It hadn't been hard to locate the demon, especially when others had been looking for her anyways. A traitor amongst the demon species was certainly one who hadn't the cards in their hand. Even for being a Fallen angel and everything they still ratted her out to him. The real fun had began when he'd trapped her and took her to holding. The demon had thrashed, screamed, and cursed at him...yet she'd not fought. It could be she wasn't so strong at all, and Samyaza knew she wasn't. It was like being cut off from Heaven to an angel for her; she was cut off from Hell.
A twist of the knife, and then packing salt into the wounds. The demon hissed and moaned, yet she bit her tongue from screaming too loud. She didn't want to give the satisfaction, but it'd all come out in due time.
Samyaza didn't like demons, thus he hadn't cared or thought twice about letting the Watchers torment her. He, himself, had hardly particpated. It had just been fun to watch. Honestly, Samyaza wasn't big on doing torture himself. He was more of a guy who used words, and he didn't know the demon well enough for that. He didn't want to know her. She was just a parting gift for his brother if the little talk they were going to have didn't go over well.
The nails, drenched in holy water, slid right through the palms of her hands as they hammered her to the tree. It was nostalgic. The demon looked just like Jesus when he'd been nailed to the cross, and oh how the holy water made her cry. The sobbed and choked the entire time they nailed her to the tree.
"Stop..." She whined, "just stop..."
It was strange to find him in a graveyard. Samyaza was unaware that his brother Gabriel stood where he'd first met the crossroads demon named Yin. He was simply aware that the two hadn't seen each other for a month or so now; the demon had been avoiding him like a plague. Samyaza didn't know the details on that, either, but he felt he didn't need or want to know.
"Hello brother," He said with a friendly smile. "Mind if we have a little chat? It'll be worth your while."

Gabriel had gone back to the graveyard, back to the spot where him and Yin had met. He was gnawing halfheartedly on a snickers bar and he looked somewhat depressed. Yin had been avoiding him, and he wasn't sure just exactly why that was. He had thought Yin had gotten over the whole "him being an archangel" episode, they even had wonderful make-up sex to prove the point. Right? That's what that was? Make-up sex?
Then it dawned on him that it may not have been what he thought it was. Perhaps...she had sex with him out of fear? She was scared of him, thought him of some kind of monster or something. Gabriel scowled and the palm of his hand connected to his face. Then he heard the sound of someone behind him and he spun around, to face this person whom called him "brother".
Samyaza?
Gabriel looked surprised. Why was he here? What did he want? Surely, he didn't want to come up here to just have a little chat with the archangel? Well, a civil one at least. Gabe took another chunk out of the snickers bar, his hand creeping its way into his pocket and resting on the archangel blade concealed there. If anything were to go wrong, he would retaliate without a second thought about it.
To be blunt and honest, Gabriel didn't trust fallen angels, especially the watchers. Watchers, most of them at least, hated his guts, for several reasons. One of the most obvious reasons was that Gabe was a "baby killer". In other words, he was responsible for the deaths of plenty of the Watchers children. He was sure that didn't sit too well with them.
"What do you want, Sambo?"

Samyaza removed his sunglasses once the Archangel had responded in a civil manner. It was only polite to put them away while speaking with his dear brother, who had, once upon a time, slaughtered his sons. This did not dent Samyaza like it did the others. He hadn't cared much for the wife, and the children had been needed for other purposes. It just miffed him to have his plans delayed more-so than the murder. Some would call him sick, but Samyaza called himself practical. If one wanted to advance, then they had to play with all the pieces on the chess board. Gabriel had made his move long ago, and now it was his turn to make a play.
"I must say that I am impressed. You're the first brother to bother hearing me out. The others...they're so...single-minded...about simply causing a slaughter." He smiled and stood next to Gabriel, but at a comfortable distance. He wasn't afraid of Gabriel, no, but he knew what he had in that pocket. Samyaza gestured to Gabriel's jacket, "you know, there's no use touching that thing. I'm not here to cause a scene. I just want to talk."
The Watcher allowed a moment of silence to let Gabriel consider his words. It was best to let those one speaks to understand completely what the other was trying to get across. Communication was everything. Once Samyaza was sure that Gabriel was going to hear him out he looked around the graveyard thoughtfully. Such a peculiar place to be, and yet so fitting. "I'm not going to waste your time, Gabriel. I'm going to cut right to the chase."
He smiled and gestured to the world around him. "It seems you're fond of this place. It's the planet us Watchers fell in love with so long ago; back when it was a sin to do much of anything except stand there. I see from observing you, brother, that the rules have changed. Daddy doesn't say much about anything anymore, does he?"
"What I wanted to talk to you about was about the current...situation...going on around here. I'm aware you angels are trying to start an apocalypse? Well, I don't quite agree with that, and I feel you don't either."
Samyaza turned to face his brother with a serious expression. "The Watchers don't want the world to end, Gabriel. We love Earth, and that's the main reason we Fell. We were ordered to love the human race and this world, and we came to love it too much." His expression relaxed and he even allowed his brother a good-mannered smile, "So, I was thinking you'd like to assist us in saving it. We've no bad intentions like the angels say, Gabriel. We truly do not. All the Watchers want is a place here on Earth to belong in, and we've a plan to make it happen. Once all is nice and peachy, then we disappear and things go back to more of the same. Wouldn't that be lovely?" His head tilted to the side, "I'm not asking much of you, brother. Just a little support is all."

Gabriel felt uneasy and he shifted uncomfortably from one foot to another. His brother kept that stupid smile on his face and he was sure that was the cause of his uneasiness. Those that smiled like that were usually up to no good. But even so, Gabe listened to what Samyaza had to say and considered each word that came from his mouth. This was a touchy subject for Gabriel and he didn't really want to be talking about it. None the less talking to a fallen brother about it.
The archangel scoffed, letting his hand fall out of his pocket and a smirk curl onto his lips. "Have you fallen out of your rocker, Sambo?" he asks, looking at him as though he belonged in a mental institution. Gabriel supporting them? The very thought made him want to burst out into tears of laughter.
OH HELL NO!
He took a step away from Samyaza, keeping as much distance away from him as possible. Gabriel didn't like to be around him, none the less next to him. Yeah, the Watcher was keeping his own distance away, but Gabe's nerves were on end. He was having personal issues right now, no way would he allow himself to get caught up in the apocalyptic issues as well.
"Sorry, but No Dice, amigo. You see...I lack one of the important requirements to be supporting your side." He snickered. "...I'm not an assclown"

Gabriel was as stubborn as ever. Samyaza laughed and ran his fingers through his hair at the petty insult. "Why do you judge me for simply being Fallen, brother? I am not as bad as you think. I know we never spoke much in Heaven, but even Ramiel would say I was a rather...altruist...sort of individual, per say." He stuffed his hands in his pockets and sighed, "I was giving you the truth, Gabriel. We do not want the world to end. We don't want Lucifer walking this Earth as much as anyone else does, but how is his crime so bad? He thought freely and simply did not want to bow down to humanity, while we wanted to embrace it to its full. Tell me...does this suspicion and punishment fit the crime?"
He gave his brother a level look before shaking his head and looking to the ground. Gabriel had that look about him. For now, there was no convincing the Archangel. So, it was time to leave him a parting gift. "I can see you wish to end this discussion. So, I will leave you in peace." He glanced up at Gabriel and smirked, "but one thing first. I hear you've a demon lover. How is that going for you? You see, I've heard some very interesting news about her whereabouts lately. I figure you'd be interested in knowing where your pet has run off to and what she's gotten into." He put his hands up in defeat, "I'll tell you with no strings attached. How's that?"
Before the Archangel could reply, Samyaza lifted a hand, palm up, and a sphere appeared in it. In the sphere was the face of the crossroads demon, Yin. Her head was hung to the side, eyes closed, and blood dripping down her mouth and face. The picture widened to show her battered body nailed to a tree in a crucified position in the middle of some unknown forest. The demon coughed and whimpered, but otherwise she was silent.
"It looks like she got herself in quite a mess, brother. You should watch those you adore more carefully..." The sphere disappeared and Samyaza returned his hands to his pockets. He took a daring step closer to Gabriel and lowered his voice to hiss in a harsh whisper, "you know, I hear she squealed like a pig when they nailed her to the tree and moaned like a whore when her tormentors ravished her over, and over again." He flashed his teeth in a smile, but this time it was less than friendly. Then, the Fallen angel took a step back and pulled a piece of paper from his pocket. He dropped it to the ground and nudged it toward his brother. "This is where we located her. Don't say I never did anything for you."
Samyaza laughed, and just like that he was gone.

BLACKBIRD SINGING IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT TAKE THESE BROKEN WINGS AND LEARN TO FLY YOU WERE ONLY WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT TO RISE Everything hurt, and she meant everything. Yin groaned and lulled her head to the side in a daze as she felt the nails in her hands and feet shift. They kept her hung to the tree like a piece of meat. 'I want to get out of here...this sucks...is anyone there?' She thought and coughed up blood. Of course there was no one there. There'd been no one there for hours. They'd just left her here, and she didn't know why. Yin winced and whined as she tried to pull free of the nails. They'd poured holy water on her, salted her, stabbed her, and beat on her so long that she'd lost a sense of time. Everything was a blur, and her mind was swimming. 'Am I going to die?'
Just then a figure appeared. The demon could sense it. An angel? Her eyes opened and she looked at the blurred stick figure approaching.
"It's okay. It'll be okay. I'm here to help."
The voice cooed in a tone that was supposed to be soothing. Yin simply made a small noise in response and closed her eyes again. Whatever the angel was going to do to her wasn't nearly as bad as what those others had done. They'd made her want to drop dead, and she still didn't know why. She'd never seen them before, and they'd been different from regular angels. Fallen? Had they been Fallen?
First relief came to her feet. The one nail holding them both to the tree was tugged right out and they hung down, bleeding but free of the immense pain, then her hands followed and Yin collapsed. Arms caught her and held her there. "Gabriel?" She squeaked.
"Not quite. My name is Ramiel. It's become my job to watch over you."
"Gabriel..." Yin mumbled again. "Gabriel...where is he? Gabriel? You said you'd always be there. Right around the corner...where are you? Gabriel...!"
"H-hey...calm down now. Please. I don't know where Gabriel is, but he's not here. You're wounded. Can you hear me? How many fingers am I holding up?"
"Come back..." She sobbed. "Please come back..I'm sorry..."
A low growl alerted her of her hellhound, Orion. She had thought him dead. The tormentors had attacked him when he'd tried to save her. He must've been injured, at the very least. He couldn't take on an angel, and Yin could feel the angel holding her tense. He was afraid of it? "No!" She managed to scold him. "Orion! No! Stay. Don't hurt them..." That had to be enough to keep the hound at bay. Yin wasn't sure how much more she could manage to get out. Her body was so tired, and she was so tired. Her dark eyes opened and she looked at the blurred figure again. "Gabriel...I want Gabriel. Please? Bring him to me..."
"I...I...." The angel sighed, "I'll call for him. I'll see if he comes, okay?"
That wasn't enough, but Yin could only cough painfully in response.

Gabriel was pissed. Okay, that was an understatement by far. He was ROYALLY pissed. He glared at Samyaza as he disappeared from view, completely unsure how he was supposed to react. They had Yin? THEY WERE TORTURING HER? Gabe snatched up the paper and stared down at it, his vessel shaking with anger. There was a bright glow beginning to radiate from him, his fury was swelling up inside him as though he were about to burst. He noted the location in his head and disappeared, destroying tombstones in the process.
He re-appeared, his eyes wide with horror as he looked at his surroundings. Yin. Samyaza was right they had tortured her. Gabriel rushed over, completely blowing off Ramiel in the process and scooping her up out of his arms into his own. He cradled her and clung to her as though it was the last time they would ever hug again. "Carebear." he whispered to her. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. Your safe now...Okay...Your safe now..."
Gabriel finally looked up to see Ramiel and he looked him dead in the eyes. "Where the hell did those Asses go that did this to her? I swear to the Heavens I'm going to find every last one of them and tear them molecule by molecule!" There was hatred burning in his eyes.
He was going to be doing some smiting tonight.

Its really good to hear you voice(SAYING MY NAME)Of all the things he could've been asked to watch over it was a demon. Not just any demon but one he had spotted many times before in the same area as he. Ramiel had, at first, thought she was stalking him. It'd been unnerving. Now he was learning that it might've been because he was supposed to, unofficially, take her as a charge. Whatever was going on in Heaven there were plans for the demon. No, she was not just "demon", her name was Yin Izumi. Ramiel shouldn't refer to her as "demon", but instead her name. Yin was badly injured for a demon. It baffled Ramiel somewhat. Interesting...it was all very interesting...It was also interesting how she kept calling for his little brother Gabriel. The two must've had a history.
Ramiel wasn't sure he wanted to know said history.
Like he'd promised he'd called for Gabriel. Apparently they must've had quite a history, because the Archangel appeared and snatched her from him in a split second. Ramiel blinked a few times. If that was his idea of protecting his charge, then they were going to have to reassign someone else to her. Besides, Ramiel wasn't much of a fighter anyways.
"I'm not aware of who caused this harm to her. I only just got orders to watch over Yin Izumi, and found her like this."
Ramiel adjusted his glasses and watched the two. Carebear? Why was his little brother calling her the name of some stuffed bear?
Yin was watching him with a sort of dazed expression, but she smiled. She recognized him. "Gabriel...hey..." She mumbled and curled up against the Archangel. Her body relaxed and she looked as if she were about to dose off. Then she cringed and her eyes began to water. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..."
Ramiel felt awkward about the whole thing. He made a small 'ahem' noise and threw a look at the hellhound, who was watching them intently. It was injured, but it obeyed its master obediently. That was a relief.
"Gabriel, I suggest we take her to a hospital. They can wrap up her injures, and she can be monitored much more easily there. I advise against any smiting today...She kept calling for you when I found her." Ramiel scratched the back of his head, "she wants you to be with her, I figure."

Yin was calling for him this entire time? Gabriel glanced at Ramiel. "No shit sherlock, why else would she would call for me if she didn't want to be with me?" Gabe gave him a 'are you serious?' look before lifting Yin up into a carry. Running a hand through her hair and trying to calm her. "It's going to be okay..." he tries to soothe, his anger dimming but not entirely gone. He was going to get vengeance.
Later. When he made sure that Yin was fine and dandy.
Gabriel was what one could consider a very stubborn being. Once he tells himself he's going to do something, there is no stopping him. He would hunt down the bastards that did this and he would crush them. He didn't care who the hell it was or what their intentions were. Gabriel was going to show them the wrath of a pissed off archangel.
Gabriel nodded at the older brother. "Meet us at the hospital." With that he disappeared, him and Yin, making their way to their destination.
The archangel found it odd, taking a demon to a hospital. Did they heal like humans? No...They shouldn't, should they? Gabe found this weird, but he didn't hesitate taking his companion to the nearest one around. If Ramiel had suggested it, then Gabriel would do it. His brother, was after-all, the "voice of reason".
Or whatever the hell you'd like to call it.
