Asael had been on Earth for a few weeks, not a lot but long enough to figure out a few things. Of course she allowed her vessel to help her out as well, such as the customs of the mankind. How to wear clothes, how to act, the usual things. But being inside her vessel, she was also exposed to emotions and free will. She felt the love her vessel held for Azrael’s vessel, and she was confused by it. She didn’t understand that kind of love, as the only love she had ever experienced was with her brother and sisters as well as for her Father. So she decided to let that be, and try to learn more for another day.
When the angel learned that Azrael had checked into a motel room, she found it inquisitive to say the least. She had to see why he was there, as she knew that angels can keep their vessels in pristine shape without food or sleep as long as they needed to, and there was only one thing she knew of that a motel is used for. And that was for sleep, so she began to wonder why an angel would need any sleep. So she decided to check this out… She then donned on an outfit of which she allowed Sammi to help her pick, and then made her way toward Azrael.
Asael stood outside of his room, and turned herself invisible so he doesn’t see her. She then approached the window carefully, and peered inside. She hoped he didn’t spot her, and watched him to see what he was doing. As she watched, she could feel Samantha stir at the sight of him, and her vessel’s heart began to beat wildly in it’s chest. She placed a hand over it, hoping her assignment did not hear it….

Azrael had to admit he didn’t like the fact that he had been allowing Ryan to pick how they had been travelling the last couple of weeks but he had to admit that the hunter knew how to blend in and that worked better for him, he knew that the vessels would be important but he was important as well being the angel of destruction he was someone that was needed in the apocalypse even though he wanted nothing to do with it and he would gladly stay away he knew that they wanted his field of expertise right now.
Also it meant that he could pass as a normal guy, going to a bar and drinking that was something that he could do and it wouldn’t be suspicious. This meant that he had the chance of being able to hide who and where he was without much effort as he didn’t know if he would have to fight off other angels or not with the abilities that he had. He didn’t think that it was a big thing that he had his powers to help him but he was glad of his powers because he believed that he would need them at one point or another to be able to survive on earth. Azrael had been dressing having got out of the shower when he felt like he was being watched, he didn’t know who it was but he knew that he was being watched by someone. Dressing he disappeared out of the room only to appear three foot away from the window invisibly to see if the person came into view because he had disappeared.

Asael had watched her assignment from the other side of the window while he got dressed. Her vessel’s heart was beating a samba away in her chest. Sammi had feelings for Azrael’s vessel, that much was certain as her body was starting to have strange reactions to just the sight of him. Poor girl. She has no idea what happened to him… She thought to herself, knowing that her vessel did not know that her love had given the archangel currently controlling him permission to possess him. The angel knew, sure. But her vessel did not, and perhaps she thought it best that her vessel do not find out.
So when Azrael finished getting dressed and disappeared, she only shrugged her shoulders and thought that she would pick up his trail later. But that would not be the case, as Sammi demanded that they find him. The angel sighed, and nodded her head once. She knew she owed the girl as she did promise that she would help her find her love. Thing is that she doesn’t want her vessel to get hurt when she realizes that he was no longer completely her beloved Ryan. The angel stood there for a few moments, seeing if he simply teleported away but that wasn’t the case.
Asael hesitantly made herself visible, not sure if she thought it would bee a good idea. She could feel the panic in her vessel slowly rising at the loss of sight of her love. Sammi might trust that Azrael will not hurt her, as she did not know that the angel of destruction was possessing her Ryan, Asael knew better. She prepared herself for anything the other angel may throw at her. ”I know you are nearby, Azrael. Just come on out and we can talk.” She called out to her assignment. So long for the watch from the sidelines approach. She added to herself as she looked around, waiting on him to make his presence known.

Azrael had to admit that he didn’t know who had been watching him but he was sure that it was another angel but the fact that they had been hidden and now he was just waiting to see who revealed themselves. He didn’t know what it was going to be but he was sure that he could deal with it, being the angel of destruction it wouldn’t be that hard coupled with the experience that he ha as a fighter he would quite welcome the challenge if he was being honest. Now it was more about seeing who the person was that had appeared.
Of all the people that Azrael and Ryan had been expecting to pop back into view it hadn’t been who did. Of course Azrael had been able to tell that it was another angel, however it was Ryan’s emotions that bubbled over, it was Sammi, his Sammi, he had seen her body he knew that she had been dead. The fact that something had taken the visage of the woman that he loved was something that had pissed the hunter off, however the cool an calm exterior of Azrael was able to calm the man if the angel was honest he knew that it would have been worse if he had been using someone else then Ryan would have been likely to shoot them. Coming back into view the angel had his arms crossed over his chest.
“You have a couple of seconds to start talking before I rip that face off.” He said “especially as to how the person is important to my vessel.”

Asael truly didn’t expect an answer, but her vessel did not want to leave her Ryan behind. The angel did not want to admit that there was a possibility that Azrael would have just outright sent her back to heaven, and killed her vessel in the process. She prepared to leave, even if it meant that her vessel would not ever forgive the angel for leaving. Who was she kidding? She had no experience in ‘fieldwork’ and yet she was suppose to watch her assignment from afar? She was a rookie at this, and she knew it. She was just about to tell her vessel that she would see her Ryan another time, and started the process of teleporting out of there.
The distinct sound of an angel coming back into view, stopped her from leaving. She knew the sound came from behind her, and just as she knew that he had seen her. She didn’t turn around, fearful of the reaction she would receive if she did. The angel of destruction could do just about anything to her, and there was nothing she could do about it. She didn’t have the training or experience, as she preferred to stay out of the scuffles that happened among her brethren over the eons. Nor was she ever asked to participate among the numerous battles. She suddenly felt like a soldier that was sent directly to the front line in a war, and had skipped all the training such as boot camp to go with it. She didn’t know if the fear she was feeling was hers or Sammi’s at the thought of her love rejecting her. She attempted to calm her vessel, and reassure her that she hasn’t done nothing wrong.
”You have a couple of seconds to start talking before I rip that face off. especially as to how the person is important to my vessel.”
Asael closed her eyes slowly, knowing that he would do just that and she wondered where to start. She was told to tell him nothing about why she was there, but then again lying to the angel of destruction was not among her list of things to find out what would happen if she did. She was sure that he would not let her or her vessel live if she did, and that was perhaps the only motivation she needed. Do not piss off the angry angel of destruction. ”Azrael, I’m just glad she got me a few seconds. But if you want something more, then I’m going to need more time. All I ask is that if you dislike what I tell you, you can do whatever you wish to me but do not hurt my vessel. Please…” She said, her back still facing him and her vessel’s heartbeat thundering in her chest. She could feel Sammi’s fear rolling off of her. She suddenly realized that her vessel was remembering her last moments of her life before she resurrected her for her assignment. ”I would also like to add that my vessel is terrified, and I hope to get this over with quickly.” She added quietly.
